BAMBINIS BABY NURSERY
For babies from 4 months to approximately 2 years
A warm, homely, caring environment for your baby to develop and grow.
Your baby will have a dedicated fully qualified NNEB Nursery Nurse or equivalent.

PINK ROOM
For children from the age of 2 - 3 years
A happy, homely and fun atmosphere introducing the children to early Montessori equipment,
preparing them for Rainbows or Stepping Stones.

BLUE & YELLOW ROOMS
For children aged 3 - 5 years
This is where the children are free to discover and learn.
Our aim is to give each child the confidence and skills which will prepare
them for any easy transfer to big school.

STEPPING STONES
For children from 3 - 5 years
Here the children who are going on to Homefield, Bilton Grange Pre-Prep will develop as a group,
making their transition from Nursery to Kindergarten an easy and happy one.
  • We participate in the Government Scheme for Nursery Grant for 4 year olds.

  • We have received glowing OFSTED reports.

Children having a hot lunch is provided by Homefield School and children who have a packed lunch stay at school and eat in the blue room with a member of staff.

    Full Day Children’s Afternoon Routine
    During the afternoons, the staff will arrange for different activities to take place for the full day children. As the children have been with us for a morning session, we feel that as well as the usual Montessori activities, letter work and number work etc, it is important that the children have some free time to complete art work, role play and nature walks and free play.

    School Uniform
    Each child is required to have a school sweatshirt, welly bag and book bag. These are available from the school. It is requested that all clothes which may be removed are labelled with the child’s name.

    Introductory Classes for Parents and Children
    These are run on a Saturday morning in the term before your child starts, 10am – 12pm. They are an invaluable introduction to the school making the transition from home to nursery school easier for both parents and children.

    Holiday Activity Schools
    Here at The Rugby Montessori Nursery School, we are pleased to say that we arrange Holiday Schools during each holiday period. This means that we are open throughout the year. During each term, parents are invited to join our Holiday School for the next holiday period and they are always very popular. Parents can have the sessions of their choice during Holiday Schools (subject to availability) and these can be different to those sessions taken up during term-time. Costings and full details are supplied to every parent during each term. Holiday Schools are run by our own Montessori qualified staff, so there are no new faces for the children to get used to. During Holiday School the Montessori Teaching philosophy still applies throughout, but there is more time to enjoy art and craft topics and all activities are themed according to the time of year. We also take every opportunity to enjoy our beautiful surroundings. Our aim is to provide a happy stimulating environment, but with a relaxed atmosphere so that each child ahs an enjoyable Holiday School experience.
