Bambinis Pre-Nursery for babies and little ones from 6 months to 2 years
Bunnies and Teddies
It is our aim to provide a warm, homely, caring environment for your little one to develop and grow.
Your baby will have a dedicated fully qualified Nursery Practitioner as a key worker.
Our Bambinis Pre-nursery forms part of The Rugby and The Dunchurch Montessori Nursery School, where we offer complete care from the age of 6 months until school age of rising 5 years.
The Bambini Pre-Nursery are in a separate area within The Rugby Montessori and The Dunchurch Montessori Nursery School building.
We have two lovely light, spacious playrooms with a happy, calm and homely atmosphere where babies are cared for as if they are at home. We have one nursery practitioner to every 3 babies.
Our team are specially picked for their Nursery practitioner qualifications, experience and specialised interest in baby-care. There are Room leaders and a Key Worker system is in operation.
We make sure all our little ones are kept clean and dry, happy and safe, whilst offering them an environment where they can explore and further their development. Each little one’s individual needs are followed using the early years foundation stages and the Montessori method of learning.
The first duty of the educator, whether he is involved with the newborn or the older child, is to recognise the human personality of the young being and respect it.
Maria Montessori
All highchairs, cots, changing mats, toys and equipment are sterilised and disinfected throughout the day. There is a dedicated Nursery kitchen, where all baby bottles, food and drinks are prepared.
Parents or carers are asked to provide nappies, milk, bottles and baby food. We provide solid food when your baby is ready, and we suggest parents discuss individual requirements with their baby’s Key Worker.
We also recommend that parents leave several changes of clothes with us so we can keep your baby clean and dry throughout the day. Your baby’s Key Worker will talk through your routine for changing baby and will make sure this is followed when baby is with us.
Each baby has a baby diary that you help complete with all the important information that we will need to know about your baby’s individual needs. Your baby will have its own Baby Diary sheet for you to read each day.
Only indoor shoes or socks may be worn in the baby room by adults. All Visitors must always wear overshoes in Bambinis.
Places for babies are limited and registrations may only be accepted for those who wish to continue to the Nursery School.

The Fun Studio and Jungle Gym
The Fun Studio is a bright sunny room where the children do their messy activities such as painting, foam play, play dough, cookery, chalking and much more!
It is also where they have their meals and snacks.
The Jungle Gym is a separate playroom dedicated to sensory play and the development of large motor skills allowing the little ones to explore and move about in a safe environment.
Outside Play
We believe in fresh air! Our little ones go outside every day unless it is raining heavily or freezing cold!
Bambinis outside space is where the little ones are under cover but still able to get fresh air, this area is used for a whole range of activities including a large sit in sand pit and loose part play. 
Bambini's also has its own outside play area with a covered area and soft flooring for the little ones to play on.
