I am a qualified Montessori teacher. I completed my Montessori Teaching Diploma at St Nicholas Montessori College, London in 1989. I set up The Rugby Montessori Nursery School in January 1991 in a church hall in Rugby. We moved to much larger rented premises in Dunchurch from 1993 until 2022.
In January 2021, we opened our Nursery School in Vicarage Road, Rugby. The Rugby Montessori Nursery School, Vicarage Road is a smaller setting in a lovely 1930's house which has allowed us to recreate Maria Montessori's "Casa dei Bambini" or "Children's House" a place where the children can feel at home in a house that has been created just for them. I am excited to now be opening a Sister school to Vicarage Road in Dunchurch, Cawston lane and I am delighted to be bringing the amazing Montessori method of teaching back to Dunchurch.
I have spent the last 33 years building The Rugby Montessori Nursery School and our fantastic, knowledgeable, highly qualified teaching team. I feel passionately about providing an outstanding Montessori education for the children in our care. I believe firmly in the Montessori principles and that the child is the most important part of our future. It is my aim to provide a caring environment for our children to thrive in.

Hello my name is Miss Kelly
I joined the Rugby Montessori team in June 2019 as a Early years educator, I then progressed to become Teddies room leader, then Bambinis floor Manager, and also Deputy Manager of the Vicarage Rd Nursery site. I am now the Nursery Manager. I have worked in the childcare sector for over 25 years, working in a variety of settings and roles including Nursery Manager of another large setting before joining The Rugby Montessori Nursery School in 2019.
I started my carer as a Creche Volunteer and gained my level 2 in childcare. I was then offered a position as a Nursery Nurse which enabled me to continue my career and gain my Level 3 in Childcare. I then went on to gain my Early Years Sector Endorsed Degree. I constantly strive to keep my knowledge up to date and relevant. I am part of the Nurseries Safeguarding team and also the prevent officer. I have also completed the 0-3 Montessori AMI assistant course
I am passionate about being around children and helping them reach their personal goals and watching them progress through nursery life. I am very creative and really enjoy messy play, and creating tough tray activities for the children to enjoy. I also really enjoy outdoor play and learning.
I am a mother to a son of 27. I love baking cakes and going on holidays.

I have had many PA/administration roles within my career including organising weddings, working for Managing Directors and the Leader of a County Council. I have a Diploma in Secretarial skills.

Hello, my name is Miss Libby and I work in Bambinis. I am part of the Management & Leadership Team. I have worked with children for over 5 years. I have a Level 3 qualification in Children's Play and Learning Development which I studied and completed at Rugby College. I have worked with all ages and am passionate about my job. I am Sing and Sign Lead within the nursery and I thoroughly enjoy this role as well as teaching everyone about it. Outside of work I love spending time with my partner, family and friends.

I also teach dance, which is now incorporated in nursery, especially on Wiggle Wednesdays.
